When almost 60 years ago a decision was made to erase 3 villages in Central Bulgaria and to build the Zhrebchevo dam in their place, they dealt with people’s homes, but they did not dare to destroy the temple. Left to the mercy of nature and time today the remains of the church “St. Ivan Rilski ”(The Submerged Church), now flooded by water, now remaining on land, continue to worry our minds with questions about the eternal things in life.
